As a Senior Manager of Data Science at Expedia Group, I lead a team of data scientists and engineers to deliver innovative solutions for the travel industry. With over 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and fraud prevention, I have a proven track record of creating data-driven products that enhance customer experience, optimize business performance, and secure online
transactions.

My core competencies include applying advanced statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools to analyze large and complex datasets, identify patterns and trends, and generate actionable insights and recommendations. I have successfully developed, deployed, and maintained data science programs for payment fraud, delivery fraud, AppleCare fraud, insider fraud, and Expedia's conversation platform, resulting in millions of dollars in savings, improved customer satisfaction, and enhanced security.

I also have a strong academic background, with a PhD and Masters in Statistics and Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, and multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.

 

I am passionate about solving challenging problems, creating data-driven products, and mentoring the next generation of data scientists. My goal is to leverage my skills and expertise to help Expedia Group achieve its vision of powering travel for everyone, everywhere.

Outside of data science, I enjoy trail running, hiking, photography, and playing with my dogs (Moose and Fiona) in our yard and around Washington.
